OneUpOneDown at Women of Silicon Roundabout Conference 2022

OneUpOneDown’s Co-Founders, Natalie Robinson and Dzhuliana Nikolova, will be bringing mentorship to the Women of Silicon Roundtable Conference 2022, delivering a workshop on the topic of “How To Become An Effective Mentor”.

Founded in London in 2015, Women of Silicon Roundabout is the flagship event in the Women in Technology World Series and the original centerpiece of the global gender diversity movement in tech.

In 2022 The Power of Resilience is the unrivaled theme; uniting all women in technology to supercharge their careers and in doing so, redefining the tech industry. The event is being held on 22-23 November 2022 at ExCeL, London.

About the workshop

Transform your ability to connect with and guide others through the practice of being an effective mentor. We’ll share tools and techniques to bring forth the experience that you already have to confidently create value for those that you are in a relationship.

Many women don’t put themselves forward as mentors because they don’t think they have enough to offer. This is almost always not true and is often associated with imposters syndrome. Through the practice of being a mentor, women build confidence, improve their communication skills and foster trusted relationships. This creates a healthier and happier professional environment and builds resilience.

The workshop activity includes:

  1. Effective frameworks and tools
  2. Interactive learning through group sessions
  3. Situational feedback, and actionable advice

The session is at 11:30 am on 23 November 2022, for Premium ticket holders.

Join the ‘Women of Silicon Roundabout Conference 2022’ Mentorship Pool

If you’re attending or attended the Women of Silicon Roundtable Conference 2022 you are invited to join an exclusive mentorship pool. Get matched with other women who attended the conference through OneUpOneDown’s mentorship methodology designed for matching women in technology.

Each match lasts three months with four meetings and we make matches based on a cross-over between mentees’ desired skills and experience and mentors’ current skills and experience. There’s no cost to sign up.
